They tend to be clear representation of the feelings and thoughts of the poet, that is the composer, and the presenter who may use the signs to drive the poem home. The same way the secular music has been introduced in the worship is the same manners the other forms of idol worship have been introduced. Poems are proper channels through which words are passed to the recipients.
The same manner done to the music and the distortion of the church uniqueness in terms of songs and music is the same way the poem about Christ have been distorted to suit the earthly desires. This makes it lose its main aim of praising and spreading the gospel according to Christ.
On the other hand a good poem is that type of poem that portrays the true gospel of Jesus and so when heard by the audience; it should be in harmony with the gospel and the words of the Holy Bible. Creating what the mind thinks and using it to pass the word of God is not healthy and this can lead to eternal death.
