Childrens Books About Movie Stars Are Awesome

By Jocelyn Davidson

There is nothing wrong with any child who likes to read a book or magazine for sheer entertainment. Many of them will learn a great deal while reading childrens books about movie stars that are living in today's society. Great actors like Sylvester Stallone, Rob Lowe, Goldie Hawn, Demi Moore, Sigourney Weaver, Harrison Ford, Eddie Murphy and Meryl Streep are always interesting. "Acting for America : Movie Stars of The 1980s" is one great novel to read.

So many women look up to Meryl Streep as the perfect role model. This lady never does anything to degrade herself and she tries to play characters who are always in control. "The Iron Lady" was a good film which told about the life of Margaret Thatcher. Ms. Streep handled this role with great class and style. She also played wonderful characters in "Sophie's Choice" and "Mama Mia."

"Saturday Night Live" has been on the air for decades and it has made many ordinary people famous. A young man named Eddie Murphy was very lucky when he was hired by this show. Mr. Murphy was barely out of his teens when he started entertaining people on a weekly basis in New York City.

One good looking older stud who has a great film career is Harrison Ford. This is one man who can actually act and he even looks like a real man. There are so many other young actors who cannot hold a film on their own or match Mr. Ford's acting abilities. Anyone who has seen "Raiders of The Lost Ark" has truly fallen in love with this man.

He is still going strong as a man within his 70's and women and men everywhere still find him quite attractive. "Acting for America : Movie Stars of The 1980s" tells all about his struggles within Hollywood and how he finally achieved success. If his acting career had not taken off then Mr. Ford would have become a great carpenter.

A pretty young lass named Demi Moore can be seen in many movies that are playing around the world. The very lucky individuals growing up in the 80's witnessed her Lois Lane impersonation when she played on "General Hospital." Janine Turner portrayed her younger sister Laura and the two of them reinvented this show in a matter of months. So many people growing up in today's society only know about her successful film career since she was such a hit in the film "Ghost."

"Alien" really helped Sigourney Weaver become a household name back in the late 70's and early 80's. Sigourney got the chance to portray a woman named Ripley and she was a true firecracker. Her father Sylvester L. Weaver Jr. Created the "Today" show which is seen on NBC in America. Mr. Weaver taught his daughter to be a strong and independent woman.

One macho man in Hollywood is named Sylvester Stallone and he does not take any grief from anyone. He started off in a little movie called "Rocky" which made big money for Hollywood. People are now excited to see him make more money in his new "Expendables" films.
